Angie Marsalis Alcala, Broker-Owner
Broker and Owner Angie Marsalis Alcala has been in real estate since 1983. She has been in property management since 1983 and started Key Property Management & Real Estate in 1998. Angie is married to Sammy and between the two they have four daughters, a son, and ten of the most amazing grand ANGELS on this planet! Angie can help you with property management, investment, commercial, single family buying and selling or ANY real estate need you have! She has served in many leadership positions with the Big Country Apartment Association, Texas Apartment Association and the National Apartment Association. She has worked on many committees dealing with housing issues for the City of Abilene and the Housing Authority. She is active with the Abilene Chamber of Commerce, Regional Crime Victims Crisis Center, Abilene Board of Realtor's, Women's Council of Realtors, Big Country Emmaus and many other civic organizations. One of her greatest passions is working with the African Refuge children on Wednesday and Sunday evenings at College View Baptist Church.

Sammy Alcala
Sammy has been in sales in Corporate American for nearly 35 years. He is hard at work on his real estate license and will be retiring at the end of 2015 to join The Key Team full time. Sammy's vast sales experience, work ethics, Christian values and personal skills will be HUGE asset to our team. Sammy spends most weekends traveling Texas using his God given musical talent doing Country Christian praise and worship in various churches. The youngest of 9 children Sammy was raised in the small West Texas town of Munday. From an early age Sammy loved to sing. Sammy has always had a love for country music. When he moved to Lubbock he had his first opportunity to perform in a country band. However, Sammy’s first love has always been praising the Lord through song. For the past several years Sammy has had the opportunity and privilege to lead contemporary worship in various churches. Sammy is very involved with the Big Country Emmaus Community music program. Sammy’s passion and “calling” is to glorify Christ through music, and reach people for the Lord’s Kingdom and for His Glory! Melynie Marsalis Chavez, Licensed Agent
Melynie has been in property management since 2005 and became licensed in 2010. She was born and raised in Abilene and is a graduate of Jim Ned High School. She stays active with her children, Izac, Danaka and Devyn. She is an avid fitness buff, enjoys watching her husband play softball, any kind of outdoor sport or event, water sports and enjoys flea markets, crafts and anything family oriented. Suzi Hopkins
Suzi has a vast background and a wealth of knowledge full of financial, marketing and customer service! She previously worked for H & R Block for twenty years before joining the Key Property Management & Real Estate team. She began her time with The Key Team on the property management side of the business. She has been married to her best friend and soul mate for nearly 30 years and their blended family includes 9 children. Her passion is for her Lord and Savior - Jesus Christ which shows through in her infectious smile and outlook on life! She spends any free time watching the Texas Ranger's play baseball, the Seahawks play football and doing crossword puzzles. She is also involved with the Big Country Emmaus Community. Norma Ruedas
Norma has been a vital part of the Key Team since 2006! Norma's passion is her FAMILY! Oh, yeah and nothing comes between her and the TEXAS teams! She is all about the Rangers and Cowboys! She is from Gustine! If you know where Gustine is, you are likely to know the Ruedas family!
Amy Alen
Amy has been with the Key Team since 2007. She is happily married to Scotty Allen and they have two amazing children, Caden and Tristin. Amy is all country at heart! Her favorite past time is fishing! She loves vacationing with her family. Amy says her heart BEATS for real estate. She is involved in the Big Country Emmaus Community. Jeff Rader
Known at Key Property as "KING Jeff" because if Jeff can't fix it NO ONE can. Jeff has been in construction and building maintenance for over 35 years. He has been married to Rebecca for over 28 years. They have three children Brittany, Josh and Dustin. Jeff loves fishing, hunting, riding his motorcycle, playing with his 3 rottweillers, chihuahua and bishon. He is involved in the Big Country Emmaus Community. Abilene has been home to Jeff for 30 years.
Charles Kidd
Charles is married to wife Sharon and has been in property maintenance for 32 years. He is HVAC certified and can trouble shoot and fix just about anything. Charles joined the Key Team in 1999! He loves MHR racing, racing of ANY type, fire arms and enjoying time with his family and grandchildren.
Stan Walton
Stan joined The Key Team after retiring with 33 years of service with the Texas Department of Public Safety. He has been with the key team since 2010. He is married to Sheri and they have two grown children, Stacy & Stephanie. Sheri & Stan like to hunt, fish, spend time at the lake on their boat and traveling. They also spend a great deal of time with their grand children watching soccer and baseball games. Stan's dad was in real estate in Lubbock so Stan grew up doing maintenance on his Dad's rental properties.
